QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF TODAY

1. Am I excited about my business or what I do?
2. Why does an okada man(commercial motorcycle rider) work so hard, earn so little and often die so young? What of a truck pusher, bricklayer (labourer)? Why does the factory manager earn more than the factory machine operator?
3. Why do more educated or more intelligent people work for less educated people or less intelligent people or why do professors serve as deputy governorss, or permanent secretaries or commissioners to Governors who don’t even have M.Sc.?.
4. Why are most richest people on earth non-graduates-Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Mack Zuckerberg(Harvard university drop-out), Steve Jobs(dropped out of University after 6 months because his ‘parents’ couldn’t afford his school fees as they were spending their life savings on their own child(son). So Jobs started attending seminars like this-creative classes- where he was taught calligraphy and it inspired him to produce iMAC).  In Nigeria: Coscharis, Chikason, Innoson, Ibeto,Prince Sam Adedoyin, etc are not graduates!
4. Why didn’t Nigeria win Gold in London Olympics?-any opportunity in it?
5. Why is life expectancy in Nigeria so low-47men, 48 women? Any opportunity in it?
6. Why do we live in darkness in Nigeria? Any opportunity in it?
7. Why is there so much insecurity in Nigeria? Any opportunity in it?
More Questions
1. Why are some people thriving and others suffering lack?
2. Why does it appear as if some people are destined for a life of poverty and lack while others are seen to be mining Gold on a daily basis?
3. How were university undergraduates (and later university drop-outs), like Michael Dell and Bill Gates able to come up with business ideas that have not only given them great wealth but have also changed our world forever?
The answers are in the questions!
Hence, in the next seminar, we will discuss everything about: Developing an entrepreneurial mindset D

·        Unlearn a poor mentality

Also, participants were encouraged to do away with the following limiting folk wisdom:
·        Everybody cannot be a millionaire (A ga-ezu ba? Or Aka nile araro (Igbo translation)).
·        Money doesn’t grow on trees.
·        There is not enough money to go round (that is scarcity mentality!)
·        Money is hard to get(Ego di n’ogwu(Igbo translation)).
·        If you are rich, you can’t be spiritual.
·        If you don’t sell your soul to the devil, you can’t become very rich or famous.
·        Money is the root of all evil: Yes, the Bible says, ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.’ But there is a more serious root of all evil than the love of money: It is the ignorance of money.
·        You have to have money to make money (Ego ka eji achu ego(Igbo translation). My friend, what you need is not money. What you need is a good idea. The beginning of every great wealth creation is a good IDEA!

Do away with a poor mentality!
