QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF TODAY

1. Am I excited about my business or what I do?
2. Why does an okada man(commercial motorcycle rider) work so hard, earn so little and often die so young? What of a truck pusher, bricklayer (labourer)? Why does the factory manager earn more than the factory machine operator?
3. Why do more educated or more intelligent people work for less educated people or less intelligent people or why do professors serve as deputy governorss, or permanent secretaries or commissioners to Governors who don’t even have M.Sc.?.
4. Why are most richest people on earth non-graduates-Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Mack Zuckerberg(Harvard university drop-out), Steve Jobs(dropped out of University after 6 months because his ‘parents’ couldn’t afford his school fees as they were spending their life savings on their own child(son). So Jobs started attending seminars like this-creative classes- where he was taught calligraphy and it inspired him to produce iMAC).  In Nigeria: Coscharis, Chikason, Innoson, Ibeto,Prince Sam Adedoyin, etc are not graduates!
4. Why didn’t Nigeria win Gold in London Olympics?-any opportunity in it?
5. Why is life expectancy in Nigeria so low-47men, 48 women? Any opportunity in it?
6. Why do we live in darkness in Nigeria? Any opportunity in it?
7. Why is there so much insecurity in Nigeria? Any opportunity in it?
More Questions
1. Why are some people thriving and others suffering lack?
2. Why does it appear as if some people are destined for a life of poverty and lack while others are seen to be mining Gold on a daily basis?
3. How were university undergraduates (and later university drop-outs), like Michael Dell and Bill Gates able to come up with business ideas that have not only given them great wealth but have also changed our world forever?
The answers are in the questions!
Hence, in the next seminar, we will discuss everything about: Developing an entrepreneurial mindset D

·        Unlearn a poor mentality

Also, participants were encouraged to do away with the following limiting folk wisdom:
·        Everybody cannot be a millionaire (A ga-ezu ba? Or Aka nile araro (Igbo translation)).
·        Money doesn’t grow on trees.
·        There is not enough money to go round (that is scarcity mentality!)
·        Money is hard to get(Ego di n’ogwu(Igbo translation)).
·        If you are rich, you can’t be spiritual.
·        If you don’t sell your soul to the devil, you can’t become very rich or famous.
·        Money is the root of all evil: Yes, the Bible says, ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.’ But there is a more serious root of all evil than the love of money: It is the ignorance of money.
·        You have to have money to make money (Ego ka eji achu ego(Igbo translation). My friend, what you need is not money. What you need is a good idea. The beginning of every great wealth creation is a good IDEA!

Do away with a poor mentality!

Our Business Seminar!!

Nnewi is the Japan of Africa. It is home to many big businesses and big business men especially in the automotive and manufacturing industry.

Yet, apart from business seminars organized by Church groups and fellowships, it is amazing to know that no professional and core business seminar takes place in Nnewi periodically. This goes to explain that the majority of successful business men in Nnewi, achieved their success by a combination of Sheer Grace of God, trial and error, use of their natural instincts, shrewdness and wisdom.

This implies that many of the successful business men in Nnewi stumbled into wealth or struggled their way into being wealthy even in their ignorance.

The popular financial success coach Robert Kiyosaki says: “Knowledge is the new money.” In the modern world we live in today, you are only as rich as how much knowledge you have. Everything now is information and it is more so because wealth creation has now gone digital. Whether it is letting people know where you are and what you do, whether it is paying bills or buying the things you need, and whether it is selling to your customers or communicating with them, you need to have knowledge of the current technology that will make things easiest for you. Today, we live in the computer and internet age and any university graduate who is not computer and internet literate is functionally an illiterate.

What is more, with the current crisis in the financial world especially the stock market, the way people are investing their money has changed. Nowadays, you have to invest smartly or you will lose your money and bear the pain. Investing involves risk and risk is real, no matter the nature of your business. That is why Robert kiyosaki said: “Risk is real. Education equals control, control mitigates risk.” That is apt! To be in good control of the risks you take in your business or investment, you need knowledge.

In general, you need knowledge to prosper in the business world of today. Knowledge equals advantage. With knowledge, you don’t stumble into wealth, you consciously walk into it.

It is for these reasons and more that Suxxess Brands Nigeria (a baby company though), has decided to organize a weekly FREE business seminar every Saturday, in Nnewi, to serve as a platform for equipping entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs in and around Nnewi with the necessary knowledge that will enable them create the wealth of their dream. The seminar will also be a platform for equipping people with knowledge and skills for operating the latest technology for interacting with people and doing business. The seminar will also serve as an interactive forum for the exchange of business ideas and financial knowledge among the participants.

The maiden (first) session of this business seminar will take place as follows: DATE: Saturday, August 18th, 2012.
